Sushree Pradhan`s superb all-round performance went in vain as Odisha lost to Mumbai by four runs in an exciting super league match of the Inter-State Under-19 Women`s One-day Tournament at Mumbai today.
She scalped six wickets for 11 runs as Mumbai were bowled out for 108 after electing to bat. In reply, Odisha folded up for 104 despite a defiant 45 by Sushree and her 71-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Sunita Murmu, who made 29.
Odisha conceded 31 extra runs, including 24 wides, while three of their batsmen failed to open account. This was the fourth defeat in a row for Odisha, who had lost their first three matches against Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra.
